A hearty goodbye

The US 5x5 Ghost City Comics competition challenges teams to make a 5 page short comic story in 5 days. To make things more interesting, they give different elements that have to be in the story. In our case, we got these:

Object: flashlight that rarely works;
Scenario: alternative cartoon universe;
Dialog line: I did not see that coming.

I joined a Brazilian team and we developed a story around children's characters from a fictional TV show that are disappearing because their target audience has grown up and doesn't see the cartoons.
